Blog #10: Hot Picks for Valentine’s 2025

Valentines is a most important holiday. I can’t believe I haven’t written about how much I love it. Pink and red is one of the best color combos of all time and I rank sugar cookies as a top five dessert (in MY opinion). Here’s what I have on my mind for Valentine’s 2025.

- probably the most current to my taste. I have not evolved one iota from the year 2016, so that pop sound (read: Carly Rae Jepsen Emotion era) reigns heavy for me. Crush music!

- This one is all me baby - I love my shy sweetie boyfriend and these are some songs that make me think of him.

- I loved this one! You will notice the insane amount of overlap in all of these. I am constantly bringing more of the same to the table.

Moonstruck - Always!! Sweetheart Wine & Liquor is my desktop wallpaper. I LOST MY HAND!!!!

Chunking Express - I was extremely underinformed on Faye Wong’s swag literally until EOY 2024. They don’t really get more quirked up than this. She’s so swaggy, this movie is a great reminder that a lack of personal style can make you look so anonymous (her without short hair at the end…it just doesn’t make sense). Reminds me, I should add her to some of these playlists…
