Blog #10: Hot Picks for Valentine’s 2025
Valentines is a most important holiday. I can’t believe I haven’t written about how much I love it. Pink and red is one of the best color combos of all time and I rank sugar cookies as a top five dessert (in MY opinion). Here’s what I have on my mind for Valentine’s 2025.
All my Valentine’s playlists to date:
Valentine’s 2025 with frequent collaborator Justine
probably the most current to my taste. I have not evolved one iota from the year 2016, so that pop sound (read: Carly Rae Jepsen Emotion era) reigns heavy for me. Crush music!
Galentines 2025 - collaboration with Sabrina and Joanna
Three queens maximizing their joint slay.
Songs for when you’re in love with an INTJ
This one is all me baby - I love my shy sweetie boyfriend and these are some songs that make me think of him.
V-day for the hunnies - 2024 with Justine and Bri
I loved this one! You will notice the insane amount of overlap in all of these. I am constantly bringing more of the same to the table.
Somewhat generic undated Valentines playlist - lots of Madonna and ABBA
Lots to pick from, good for review for each new year
Can’t even say much about this one
Bruh, I don’t have a thing to say about this one - see for yourself.
Every little counts - love songs
Little bit of a sweeter side.
Valentine’s movies currently on my mind:
Moonstruck - Always!! Sweetheart Wine & Liquor is my desktop wallpaper. I LOST MY HAND!!!!
Chunking Express - I was extremely underinformed on Faye Wong’s swag literally until EOY 2024. They don’t really get more quirked up than this. She’s so swaggy, this movie is a great reminder that a lack of personal style can make you look so anonymous (her without short hair at the end…it just doesn’t make sense). Reminds me, I should add her to some of these playlists…
The Awful Truth - A little thing I like to call massive chemistry. How often do you see people successfully sparring like this?
The Lady Eve - Barbra Stanwyck is MY dream girl, strong contender for GFOAT (Greatest Flirt of All Time).
Desparately Seeking Susan - Of course! so cuuuuuteeee. I love Madge, so perfect for this
She-Devil - Because of all the pink
Shampoo - Because it’s hot and everyone in it is hot.
Marie Antoinette - Invented Galentines
Punch-Drunk Love - WHO started the rumor that he needs meeee?
Pretty Woman - Because I’m watching it for the first time tonight.
What I brought to the table fit-wise:
Actual Valentine’s Day…am I the last straight Little Monster alive??
The day before Valentine’s Day
Galentine’s Tea
Didn’t make the cut IRL but love!
Sugar cookie recap:
Blog #9: Scheming on 2025
I know you can turn your luck around at any point, but I do like new beginnings for the opportunity to refocus and examine my habits. I don’t have anything really monumental on the horizon. I feel like I made a lot of big changes this past year by going back to school and taking some responsibility for the ennui I have felt about my career and potential. My goals for this year:
Write to my grandma twice a month - my grandma is on an adult LDS mission and she has requested handwritten letters. I bought Yonkers deadstock pink stationary from Ebay, and I think I’m going to buy her an Instax mini so we can both exchange photos of our outfits. I learned how to throw Fits from my grandma, she has very colorful and eccentric style. It’s something we bond over. Several years ago she gave me, one out of almost thirty grandkids, a coveted brown fur coat she had owned for decades. She has three adult daughters and I’m not even the first grandkid, so it was kind of a big deal. I treasure it. I feel grateful to have a good relationship with her, and she is my last living grandparent.
Get better grades this semester than I did last semester - I surprised myself and did a lot better than I expected. I have a lot of room for improvement and even before careful reflection, I know there are a lot of things I would have done differently. I am very grateful that I’m not spiraling over grades. Going back to school has been a lot more challenging than I expected. Any school is easier than any job I’ve ever worked full time, but being in a student-teacher dynamic with other adults again and not knowing where I stand in comparison with my peers really messed with my self-confidence. I was worried that even if my rational brain knows that grades are not a major inhibitor to future employment, I would still feel inadequate and sad if I did poorly. I was relieved to feel relieved and not panicked.
Find an internship or summer opportunity that is cool - Let me be clear, I am not opposed to the corporate grind because I am what? Money-minded. That being said, I want to explore my opportunities and I would love to love my job. I was speaking with a peer after finals and he was discussing his efforts to get his dream job. He asked me what my dream job was, and like a coward, I gave some kind of nothing answer. I’m still not really sure, but I owe it myself as both an ambitious young woman and the sole guarantor of my student loans to try and make it as worth my while as possible. It’s in my ten year plan to have a cool person job. I am leaving vague email job in the past.
Trio Trip - Me, Bonnie, and Andrew are long overdue. The last time we traveled together was in 2022, when we all went to Las Vegas, and it was only a 36 hour trip. I want to go international. I want to wear a big stupid hat 😭. I want to be kicked out of line by a bouncer because we look like American Volturi (read: less skinny than Italian Volturi). I am thinking European and green, perhaps the Motherland? I would also love to do the beach thing full stop with both of them. We need extended QT.
Establish a relationship with a general practitioner/be proactive about my health - I shelled out for student healthcare after being more or less uninsured for first 8 months of the year. My parents insurance absolutely does not work in this state, and I turned 26 in May. Thank God I did shell out because I had two major health scares within a month of my insurance kicking in. I don’t want to be big drama about it, but it did strike fear into my heart because I have never consistently been to the doctor, I almost didn’t this time around, and I actually love my life and want to live as long as possible. I will focus on preventative care and get my money’s worth!!
Write it Regret it, Say it Forget it - Stop gossiping over text. It’s bad for my spirit and it’s frankly reckless. Keep it contained to girls’ bathrooms.
Live within my means - I got a lot better about this over the past year and finally recovered from my disproportionate spending after I left my sales job, but I need to keep improving. I want to travel and have fun at all costs, but I need to temper myself especially because I will have student debt for the first time ever. I’m counting on my mans to supplement my lifestyle this year, I encourage everyone out there to go and find a man who can do the same.

Blog #7: All I Covet for Christmas
What’s your favorite deadly sin? Mine is gluttony. Anyway, here’s a list of ideas for things to covet in case you live in isolation or your neighbors are private. I polled my gorgeous friends and family to bring you the best the four corners of the internet have to offer. I’ve thrown some intangible desires in the mix in case you want to copy those too.
Penitent Spirit - You know how people who are insecure about their self-image flog themselves when they interact with customer service representatives? Those people act that way because they are guilty, probably due to their own wickedness. Many are so shielded from their own conscience that they cannot face the truth, a necessary step to healing, loving yourself, and conducting yourself with dignity. This holiday season, save your loved one the energy of apologizing for ordering coffee from a barista and share these helpful tips:
To cultivate a penitent spirit, you need to actively engage in self-reflection, prayer, confession (especially if someone you know is a chismosa, this is a whole other gift idea actually), and actively seek to amend your behavior by making positive changes in your life, acknowledging your shortcomings, and committing to not repeat them.
Key elements of a penitent spirit:
Contrition: Feeling deep sorrow and regret for your past actions and sins.
Humility: Recognizing your own flaws and dependence on God's forgiveness.
Confession: Openly admitting your sins to God, and in some cases, to a co-worker.
Self-examination: Regularly reflecting on your thoughts, words, and actions to identify areas where you need to improve. It was Jemima Kirke who once said, “I think you guys might be thinking about yourselves too much.”
Penance: Performing acts of reparation for your sins, such as prayer, charity, or self-denial. If you own Shein, this is a great time to donate it or even make a post to tell people that you spent your money on Shein this year.
How to cultivate a penitent spirit:
Prayer:
Spend time in prayer, especially focusing on prayers of repentance and asking God for forgiveness.
Sacrament of Reconciliation (if applicable):
Regularly participate in the sacrament of confession in your faith tradition. In addition to sharing with your co-workers, please also consider doing so with any direct supervisors or a strange introvert at a party.
Journaling:
Write down your thoughts and feelings about your sins and areas where you need to grow. If you have the means, please buy a domain and a Squarespace subscription and consider sharing there as well.
Acts of service:
Perform. Jokes, song and dance, a slight of hand, etc.
Seek guidance:
Consult your least spiritual friend - if you are getting blind validation from them, things are worse than I thought.
Important points to remember:
Authenticity:
A penitent spirit is not about outward displays of remorse but a genuine inner transformation. This is the hardest step for most people but try and stay in the moment.
Forgiveness:
A key part of repentance is accepting God's forgiveness and extending forgiveness to others.
Continuous process:
Cultivating a penitent spirit is an ongoing process that requires consistent effort and commitment.
2. Highlights from Justine’s Christmas List - Justine is one of my go-to girls for any kind of fragrance supplies. She’s a Scorpio and her taste reflects this - weird girl, hot enough to pull off whatever and interesting enough to go beyond basic palatable selects, intense, and very sensual. This summer we cameo-ed as the only high femme guests at a rock climber wedding. Although the socially deficient men who were trying to flirt with us were not engaging, even pretending to be humored by this information, or most importantly willing to leave us alone, we bore our souls to each other for the third time that night and learned that I am a Taurus Sun, Cap Moon, Cap Rising and she is a Scorpio Sun, Pisces Moon, Pisces Rising, which to me means we are dumb-bitch bonded - meant to be! Anyway, beside the point. Check out her recs below:
Marissa Zappas Tragedy Oil - if you aren’t ready for a full, highly recommend her discovery set as well - she makes perfume for esoteric and otherwise quirked up shawties. I own Pink Bedroom Oil (which smells like old-formula lipstick and powder, idk it’s perfect) and I am hoping I get a full of Queen Nzinga for Christmas.
Flowers and Their Meanings - Karen Azoulay
Hako Incense - they look like leaves y’all!
3. A Challengers Type-Situation - I abandoned my blog duties really early this year and the movie event of the decade got zero airtime here, but for posterity I must plug this movie. For as homo-social as most straight men are, they really let me down this year by not leaning into their friendships with other men even though most of them love each other in ways they could never extend to the women in their lives. There is still about a month left in the year, and I’m putting this out here as something to covet in case some lucky girl or young man can manifest a situation like this for themselves. Please also take the time to indulge in a sexy and stylish soundtrack mix. If you're my friend and you haven’t seen this movie yet, try and reflect on how little my word means to you.
4. For Girls Who Live Like Dogs: Hair Pins - I’m guilty of operating on revolving baskets of laundry. I always have wrinkled clothes, and I’m often in need of a lint roller. My corporate stints didn’t help either because Utah is not glamorous or chic and the workforce isn’t either, so there wasn’t a lot of pressure to look put together. I only this year began consistently blow drying my bangs. I also have a gigantic forehead and am required to serve high cranial top at all times when I can help it. I spend money every month bleaching my hair and I really have no excuse to have it looking limp half the time. I think that claw clips are convenient but very sloppy. Hair pins make you look like you tried and they are simple to use. Here’s a link to some that I’ve been eye-ing, and here’s a video on how to do it.
5. I <3 Winning Lawsuits Shirt - I’m writing this post on campus, not studying for finals, and putting the cart before the horse . Imagine winning a lawsuit or wet t-shirt contest in this! Hoping I get this in case the law school thing doesn’t work out so I can still accomplish the latter. This seller has great stuff, including shirts being sold at cost to support Palestine.
Jealousy is a disease, to which I say….
6. Meredith Marks x Lush Bath Bomb - For those who support the best show currently airing on television and happen to be in need of a lightly psychedelic, somewhat unsettling vibe for their baths this winter.
7. For the Man Who Has Everything: Slutty Shorts - These don’t have that built in underwear thing and they are the perfect length to highlight hairy quads.
8. Somebody Else’s Criterion Channel Login
Don’t ask me though - If you need the HBO login, please see my contact form.
9. For the People Who Have Exhausted Their Bag of Tricks: A Random and Inorganic Linguistic Affect
If you feel like people are getting bored with your antics and you aren’t ready to cultivate a penitent spirit, this is the perfect way to mix it up and force a confrontation or maybe even a blow-up from your patient loved ones. I recommend starting with a few words that you use all the time. Mess with the inflection on a few vowels, and go for something uncanny. It’s super important to play dumb about this as well.
10. Highlights from Angie’s List - Angie is living on her own for the first time and working on making her house a home. I’m working on giving her access to her own page, but in the meantime, enjoy some Angie selects.
Candle Warmer - These make your candles last so much longer and if you’re a renter, it may be necessary.
Fun Mug - I linked one I like, but really world is your oyster on this one. DO NOT GO OUT THERE AND PAY FULL PRICE FOR A RETAIL MUG.
35mm Film - Me and Angie have the same film camera and we regularly take the same photo on each one any time we’re together. Portra 400 is great, especially if you are not a professional and don’t want to invest in photo editing software, because the color grading is kind of built in.
Silk Cinnamon Caramel Oat Cold Foam Creamer - As Angie has said (and it’s so true), “Companies have never been so eager to please the at home drinker.”
Tickets to Kilby Block Party 2025 - “The Undisputed Coachella of the Intermountain West.” - fake quote I’m attributing to Angie because she said it in so many words.
11. From My Dad: A Good Pen - My dad has gorgeous victorian ghost handwriting (not pictured) and he is something of a pen snob. Here’s the scoop:
Uniball 207 Signo Gel Ultra Micro Gel Pen, Retractable, Extra-Fine 0.38 Mm, Blue Ink, Smoke Barrel These are his favorite in blue. You can also get them in black.
If you like ballpoint pens, nothing beats a Parker Jotter or other parker brands Limited-time deal: Parker Jotter Originals Ballpoint Pen Collection
He prefers fine point refills: Parker QUINKflow Ballpoint Pen Ink Refill, Fine Tip, Blue
12. From Joanna: Cheeky Phone Charm - I linked a super cute one from Ebay, and I’m telling you, Ebay is gonna be the place for this. Joanna is sort of on the vanguard of how to upgrade your digital presence and communication style. Hot tip: If you would like to employ a text signature, go to Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Paste:
˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚༘⋆ Highest Anticipated ˚ ༘ ೀ⋆。˚༘⋆
13. Unofficially From Bonnie: Breakaway Matcha - Bonnie has kept her apothecary under lock and key this year, but she does speak highly of this brand. She told me she had to call to cancel an order and spoke with the CEO directly and he was soooo nice. I personally like the Coldbrew Matcha because it’s the cheapest and it mixes well with cold water and milk.
14. From Nikhil: All twenty volumes of Dragon Ball Z and a competent mailman - Not really sure what he’s on about for that second thing, I’ve met his mailman and he’s actually a really cool guy. Nikhil is somewhat evil and tends to align with the managerial class, so if you have that in common with him and happen to have some pull with the USPS, see my contact form and I’ll share his LinkedIn.
15. From Tristan: 20 Lbs of Lean Muscle - I don’t really have advice for this because I accomplished my body goals this year via major and ongoing gastrointestinal issues. Keep in mind that the body is evil and must be punished. Please mute the above clip and play this instead. It’s what Tristan would want.
If nothing here catches your eye, try checking out Andrew’s list over on Andrew’s Corner for some more superficial, pedantic desires. Merry Christmas Y’all!
Blog #6: Consumer Report March 2024
This consumer report has something a little different about it
This consumer report has something just a little bit different about it.
Beauty
March is a solid winter month in Salt Lake. We see some spring days but I don’t trust that the snow is behind us until June. Because of this, I haven’t switched up my routine and I don’t have a ton of new stuff. I’m not yet beginning my fake tan cycles, but I am doing some spring preparations.
OPI Infinite Shine in It’s A Girl - I get my nails done once a month year round (and they are natural and there will be a whole post if not many dedicated to the fact) and maybe because of that I dont’t feel right getting too spendy on feet. These dogs aren’t being seen anywhere besides my house anyway. I buy a light pink color probably every year. I saw this while aimlessly roaming in ULTA.
Baby Foot Exfoliation Mask - I got this on the same go around as my nail polish. It’s kind of gross but important especially if you are kind of gross most of the year, like me. You put your feet in the booties, put socks over it, and let it sit for about an hour before washing it off. After a week or so your feet start peeling. I wear socks 24/7 for two weeks following, and if you soak your feet a few times, it makes it go quicker. Like I said, March is still a winter month. This is the time to be doing this.
Milk’s Cooling Water Jelly Tint Lip + Cheek Blush Stain - My targeted ads won this round. I’ve been seeing this all over my instagram. Lucky for them, I love a stain and anything you can apply with your hands. I got this in the shade Burst, a true poppy pink. This color looks really good on platinum blondes and pale skin. I think it will also look good in the summertime with a little lighter coverage. I’ve been using on my lips and cheeks. It applies nice and is reasonably blend-able.
Glossier Stretch Fluid Foundation - I am more of a skin tint girl to be honest (that’s a brag) but I have been wanting something a little longer lasting. I work long hours and with a lighter product, it’s usually off my face by lunch time. Bonnie recommended this to me, it’s not her top pick, but it’s pretty cheap and I figured it was worth a try. I got it in shade Very Light 1, which I think is just a bit too light on me. Next time I’ll try Very Light 4, for a peachier undertone. This foundation has a mixed review from me. When it first goes on, it definitely sits on the skin a little. Give it about a half hour or so and it ends up with a really gorgeous finish. It’s long lasting as well. I will work through this bottle and for the summer, I’ll switch back to a tint, and hopefully this time around it will match my self-tanned neck.
About Tone Makeup Foundation Spatula - Another Bonnie recommend, this is only $9! It helps you apply foundation without blotting a ton on your hands. I use it to kind of lay out on my skin and then I blend with my hands.

Perfume
I am a total perfume amateur. I am heavily influenced by about four people when it comes to fragrance and although he’s a total prince, Jeremy Fragrance is not one of them. Sara Blanco (IG linked here) is my #1 personal influencer. When that woman starts posting on her instagram story, I wait with baited breath to screenshot and file away. She’s the coolest person I’ve met IRL. We were actually internet friends first. I love Latina baddies and she loves fake blondes. I went out to visit her in LA in the summer of 2021, when I was high-rolling at my disreputable sales job and flights were at an all time low. She works in beauty, specifically fragrance, and she has excellent taste. She puts me on all the time, and not just with perfume. My very first perfume I bought was at her recommendation: Curious by Britney Spears. It’s one of the better formulated celebrity perfumes and it was the perfume of my 2021. Most everything I’ve bought since has been at her suggestion or with her stamp of approval. More recently she prescribed Natural Talent by Snif, something she described as girly and fun, but not saccharine. What I like most about this is the powdery note. It is also a great price! I’m on to grown woman things as well and after being chastised at work for wearing non-office friendly perfume (Mad About You by Pierre Guillaume totally my bad) and I will be updating about what comes my way this summer. I’m looking for something kind of spicy, something lawyer-ish.
Music
I wrote about some of what I’ve been listening to lately in my last post, so I’m going to link my full March playlist here. The star of my month was Babymorocco. He’s definitely an internet baby and he makes club music, check out this write-up in The Face magazine. I have his most recent release linked below. I’m definitely late to the party but his 2023 project The Sound is insanely fresh. It fueled every workout I completed in the month of March. I’m going to also link a playlist he has on Spotify, babymorocco hothits. I have to listen to high octane music nonstop in order to effectively complete my email job, so I wear my playlists out pretty fast. Other honorable mentions include Slolove by Janet Jackson (early sound of the summer anyone?), BOY by Owen Jackson (he DJed on Slayyyter’s Starfucker Tour this past fall and is hot btw), and SMSOU by Frost Children.
from his instagram, @owenjacksonforever
Clothes
All I’m thinking about these days is getting on a beach. I don’t usually splurge on swimwear because it’s all plastic any way, but I guess on the other hand you’re two steps away from naked so it’s important for everything to fit right. I bought some swimsuits from SKIMS and I’m going to lay it out a little for any interested parties thinking of doing the same. First thing: The swimsuit bottoms are better than the tops. You can tell by the way they are cut they’re not really for women of juggulent experience, which is weird because the Kardashians are. I did buy the Cami Top, which I know is very Christian of me, but it’s actually super flattering and I think it will look cute on a paddle board. For the bottoms, what I like is that they do a thinner lining. Too often swim buttoms either cut in too much, or they sort of compress your butt. These are very flattering. I am kind of thick and I like more coverage so I went for the Hipster bottoms. The other issue with SKIMS is they are obsessed with having the most drab colorways of all time available. Four variations of dull grey and light olive. For swimwear by the way. Right now they have white, black, and pink up, so take heed! It shan’t last.
Here on the top row from left to right we have green-brown, off-grey, dishwater grey, Gunmetal, a regular swimsuit color, a regular swimsuit color, khaki, a regular swimsuit color, and a wearable basic
Movies
Showgirls (1995) - Of course I love this movie. Gina Gershon is so beautiful. The film has long been blog fodder, but I have to say I have a legitimate gripe that there aren’t more looks from the movie making the meme rounds. I want to see Nomi’s Leopard Look in 4k, and at my leisure too!
Wonka (2023) - This sucked shit. I thought it would at least be colorful. Giraffe-milking scene was two thirds of the whole movie. Sadly it did amazing. This should have been a stark lesson that we need to start paying our writers.
Dune: Part Two (2024) - Calling it early as the movie event of the year. This was just excellent! I think Austin Butler should be in more freak-alien looks. This is the type of movie that makes me feel so lucky to have an INTJ boyfriend. He explained everything. I will definitely be rewatching. Dare I say this is the franchise of our generation?
Lost Highway (1997) - My first time watching. I think this is my favorite David Lynch film. I love Patricia Arquette’s teeth. I love Lynch’s LA. Also, how lucky am I that I’m should happen upon an Instagram Reel that Patricia herself commented on to advance what she understood the movie to be portraying? I will be acting as if I came to this same understanding completely on my own moving forward. Fred’s character says at the beginning of the movie, “I like to remember things my own way…How I remembered them. Not necessarily the way they happened.”
The Holdovers (2023) - I thought this was really well-casted, and they all had a great chemistry. I love Paul Giamatti. That being said, I had heard the end was super sad. It actually ended on a hopeful note. It was a good movie, not great.
Problemista (2023) - I love Julio Torres, I’m so happy he got to make a movie! His point of view is so special to me. I thought it was very funny. I also gotta shout out Los Espookys, a two-season HBO run that ended way too early.
Love Lies Bleeding (2024) - This got spoiled for me before watching. I expected that it would be a more serious movie, and I think if they had gone in that direction, it would have been amazing. I think once you realize it’s not that serious, you can free yourself up to really enjoy it for what it is. I loved it, it had a great soundtrack, great looks, the two leads are super hot. I was laughin’ y’all! Not to mention cracking up.
Patricia Arquette (blonde version) in Lost Highway
Books
I did not read even a book this month. I’m posting this to hold myself accountable as this is totally for shame. I read some stuff on the net, I really enjoyed this article with Mel Ottenberg. I am currently subscribed to Interview Magazine and I like his picks!
Blog #5: Save Us Daylight Savings
I’m writing this at almost 7 PM and the sun is still out! The worst is over people. I am looking forward to just a few more months of serious corporate grind before being released to bum around this summer. As the days get longer, the end of winter suffering is in sight. I’m starting law school in the fall and I need a proper break before re-dedicating myself to a different type of grind. I took my LSAT back in 2020 and have spent the last four years working and spending money. I am very excited for new stimulus and I’m nervous for the change this is going to bring too.
Fortune has smiled on me in more ways than one. My sister recently moved into one of those money-laundering apartment complexes that seem to be popping up all over Salt Lake and Middle American cities at large. This gym has everything: ski repair, bike repair, coworking spaces, a permanent cornhole fixture, dog washing center, I could go on all day! Bonnie does not at this point have a proper number on her door. It only very recently became available to rent and it’s still pretty empty. She does have an uncharacteristically nice fitness center, and lucky me has a little fob to get in. I definitely think this place is meant to be marketed to the ski/rock-climbing community, but I pray they don’t get any ideas to start using it.
It has been affirming to know that I actually will work out when I have enough space and privacy. I know the privacy may not last, but it has been amazing to have a quiet place to go. I also see Bonnie way more, even for a little bit every day. March is kind of the crucible of fitness journeys, especially for someone like me who does not keep it consistent all year: if you have a spring break plan, this is the eleventh hour. If you’re trying to get right for the summer, March is a big month for momentum. Two years ago me and Bonnie spent most of March in twin-isolation in the Philippines. We were basically on a month-long cut, totally sober and doing two-a-days. I was working American hours and sleeping during the day, so there was no other option but to enrich our bodies and thereby our souls. I also got food poisoning on that trip (that’s a brag) and came back basically a new woman.
My goals right now: get my money right and get onto a beach by any means necessary. I think I can achieve this by the end of May. Even though our winter is nowhere near over, I feel a lot of spring energy! I am listening to a lot of great music lately. I swear I will go dancing before the end of the month. Here are my current earworms:
#1 Shades On by Daine ft. Kreayshawn - I haven’t gone out dancing in a couple of months, which I need to change. I have been listening to this primarily at work and on my stim-walks. I am obsessed. It goes in from the first second and I wish I had a 10 minute version. I love Kreashawn but I kind of wish there was a version just with Daine. I had not really listened to her before, although I’ve been been following her instagram for a long time. I think she has a great sound and a strong grip on Ketanomics.
#2 Saving All My Love for You by Whitney Houston - You may also know her as Dionne Warwick’s niece. Her voice is so sweet. I love when a good one makes it back into your rotation. My friend Andrew, who just happens to be an adult male blonde, put me on in February.
#3 Just a Clown by Primer - This song has a lot of synth and is for the girls. I highly recommend. I lifted it from my friend Michael, who sent me a whole playlist full of darkwave hits.
#4 Daddy by Tokischa ft. Sexyy Red - I think Sexyy Red is the reigning Princess of America. There is no concert I would rather be at. People are always have a crazy time and she has amazing energy. I love her look and her sound. I will over-exaggerate my association with different midwestern cities depending on the situation, but St. Louis is the closest airport to where I grew up, so I feel bonded to her. She’s sexy, she never misses. She’s also a good litmus test for losers and ugly men: If they have something to say that isn’t positve or neutral, they have shown their asses. Tokischa is also very hot, I love her sound, this is a banger!
#5 Girlfriends - Bamster Flip by Babymorocco - I’m like starting rumors that I want to go dancing. I got this off some deranged Daylist playlist Spotify granted me. This one was good. I don’t remember what it was, some kind of club music theme, but I actually got a lot of good ones from it.
#6 Arintintin by Rico Nasty and Boys Noize - It has been a hot minute since Rico put something new out, and I love this sound! I think this new cycle from her (and hopefully an album) is going to be a lot of fun!
#7 Bleach by Club Eat - I got into Club Eat this past year, another fun club pick. They have an excellent look and great merch. I have been coveting this hoodie for a while, next time there’s a re-issue I will be purchasing.
#8 Supernatural by Ariana Grande - I am loving her new album, and this is my current favorite. I love her little space tunes. Also, is the totally bone-headed ire against her for having an affair with her co-worker not totally insane? I have to believe this is coming from TikTok-ed brained minors, but I’m seeing comments under everything Ari-related. Cheating is far from the worst thing you can do, I kind of feel like it’s a mandate if you’re an actress.
#9 Incognito by Justice - Video game music, and I obviously mean that in the best way.
#10 Love Train by Kylie Minogue - This is from her most recent album, which I really enjoyed. She is bubblegom pop to me and I am rounding out this list with one more dance track. I love her voice.
Blog #4: January in 2024
From Slacker, 1990
When I’m not living through January, I remember it as a dreary month. Without the holiday glow, it’s the coldest and brokest month of the year. I look forward to at least four more months of cold weather in Salt Lake City. I am lucky to know many Capricorns and Aquarians, and I lament with them about how hard it is to plan a birthday in January, to ask other people to extend themselves for a proper celebration. Efforts to reign ourselves in are in full effect, and I think of it as a more isolated month. Historically I take less pictures with other people than any other month of the year. I feel different about January this year. I am in a less public but more satisfying rhythm with my friendships. We’re all locking in a little bit, 2023 felt like a grind and 2024 feels like a relief, a reaping of some that hard work and strain. I want to foster more intimate relationships this year. I don’t want to hold myself back from the unmatched pleasure of great conversation because I’m afraid I won’t be understood or simply because I don’t feel like leaving my house. It’s always been more comfortable for me to interact in a larger group of people, where it can stay surface level. I don’t knock those times either, but there are a lot of friends I hold in very high regard that I only really see when we’re drinking. I look forward to some new and deeper friendships in 2024.
The latter half of 2023 was challenging. I have felt aimless in my work life and dissatisfied about my life outside of work. I don’t care for the type of work I have experience in. I feel uncomfortable with the vulnerability it takes to really go out on a limb, to create something, or be a part of something I have a personal stake in. I also really need to push past this type of writing, saying in so many words that I have decided to write more. I need to be more comfortable exploring and exercising the muscle to make things and try and remove the pressure to make something excellent. The only thing I feel a real commitment to is to enjoy more time with my friends. I feel like I haven’t really developed past that since 2020. I want to create more with them this year, including creating more opportunities and good times to exist just between us.
My brain is wired to optimize shit-posting, and I think that is part of what keeps me from being to contribute to something more intentional. As I noted in my first post here, I was a Twitter girl. I love the short-form. I think a lot of Gen Z has a great understanding of the virtue of brevity and also the virtue of the banal. Life is funny, the little nothings that happen, the moments void of any romantic weight. It exists quite contrary to the over-explained and voyeuristic lense of the TikTok POV. I live to see and experience those moments, which is why I loved Vine. The time limit and its inability to ever pull a real profit was the same reason it was excellent. As time goes on, the more viral and over-circulated vines represent the legacy. I wish I had saved my archive of liked videos, because th ones that stuck with me most had very little impact. It was like a gift to see them, something basically unremarkable but hilarious and unique just in the fact that it had been captured on camera.
Even though I have lived in Salt Lake City for over three years, I have not attended anything related to Sundance until this year. I was too late on the draw to attend in Park City, and I was only able to snag one in-person screening. I am comitting to buying a full access pass next year and I’ll be joining the Salt Lake Film Society as well. I like to complain about the demerits of this city and I know it’s unfair considering the little effort I have made to enjoy it. Three of my favorite movies I’ve seen in the last year came from Sundance, and they really get to something special, something true. I ended all three movies feeling deeply jealous that I can’t or haven’t made something so original to itself. They also make me feel invigorated. Independent work and collaboration is exciting. I can feel the energy through the screen. I feel recognition in some of these captured moments. I think of this quote from Nathaniel Hawthorne’s essay, The Procession of Life:
“He whose genius appears deepest and truest excels his fellows in nothing save the knack of expression; he throws out occasionally a lucky hint at truths of which every human soul is profoundly though unutterably conscious.”
I feel this naive pang, that if only I had thought to do so, I could have made something like this. I’m going take this independent spirit into the new year. I want to write more and I want to capture, in my own way, what it feels like to be here in this time and in this place. Independent work is cool, and I want to work with my gorgeous genius friends to try and stamp something out together this year.
These are the films that haven’t been able to leave my mind. I’ll try and share some clips on my feed as well:
Slacker - I saw this right as the summer was ending. I didn’t know too much about the premise when I selected it. I had just scored access to a Criterion Channel login and selected it from a list of Criterion films by decade. The opening dialogue of the movie set the tone immediately. I am so compelled by a great conversationalist. It follows different pieces of conversation among aimless twenty-somethings in the the somewhat aimless and sprawling city of Austin. It felt comfortable, like a million conversations I’ve participated in or been privy to with my friends in the city. I read that it served as a big inspiration for Clerks, another one of my long time favorites. This type of scripting is so impressive.
Dig! XX - This year at Sundance they premiered an extended cut of the 2004 release Dig! for the 20th anniversay of its release. It follows The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols for seven years a the bands evolve apart from each other. This was the only screening I was able to see in person. I was smiling throughout the entire movie. I have been a long time listener of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, but in truth I really didn’t know too much about them. There’s a moment in the movie where Joel Gion answers the question of whether or not a record label ever actually benefits the artist by saying that he didn’t know of a single example, but he was “quite prepared for the eventuality.” I loved to see guys being dudes and to see their unstripped talent and true vision. These boys were very goofy. It reminds me a lot of Carbondale. Of course it’s tragic too, to see these young men take themselves to ruin, to get in the way of themselves. I watched the original cut (it’s free on Youtube at least for now) and the extended version really does bring a lot of great additions.
Symbiopsychotaxiplasm Take One - I watched this just tonight. I picked it off of the Criterion Channel’s Sundance playlist. If I understood it right, although the understanding of it seems to be the axis of the entire film, it tracks a sort of film-within-a-film experience interlacing different takes with the actors and the discussions from the crew on just what it is exactly that William Greaves, the director, is setting out to do. I think what I really appreciated was the focus on the process, on seeing a completed project remain open-ended. I loved the crew’s discussion of the movie and the director. I felt a kind of lusting to be in an environment to have these types of discussions and to have a stake in a project like this.
Blog #3: Halloweenspo
My tips for Halloween costumes
Usually I have my halloween costume planned by the spring and purchased or in motion by August. Halloween is my favorite holiday of all time. It should be recognized the same way Thanksgiving is, by celebrating the last weekend in October. I have one of those personalities. I’m the type of white girl who loves wearing wigs, and not like good wigs. I could have been a lot worse in a different timeline. I have student government roots and I’ve always loved even the most egregious themed party. Halloween is an obviously sexy and exciting holiday that needs no defending but it is an added benefit that it allows someone like me an outlet.
I have a few thoughts on what makes a good Halloween costume. It’s changed over time but I think I’ve stayed pretty true to myself over the years.
First of all, you need to be yourself. Not everybody is hot in the same way, and thank god for that. There is no hard and fast rule that can’t be broken under the right circumstances. Like all known haters, my criticism is targeted and DOES not apply to my friends who did some of these things last year.
Now that I have that out of the way, here are MY thoughts on Halloween costumes:
No “smart” or pun-based costumes: What a nightmare! I would never do this. I guess in my head a smart halloween costume should be hot or scary. It just comes off as this half-commitment to what a costume is even supposed to be. Who hears a turn of phrase and thinks “Oh wow I need to see this ON!”? If it’s super obvious and extremely popular, I think there can be some leeway. I still wouldn’t do it. You have been doomed to an evening of explaining yourself. And you’re never explaining something fun like “OMG this is my favorite TV character from XYZ show” instead you’re like “It’s Kevin SPACE-y, get it??” I doubt I’m gonna come back and edit this to come up with a different celebrity name my mind is totally blank aside from the disgraced Kevin Spacey. I think the rules are different for guys. As a guy you need to focus on keeping your dignity. Obvious puns only like don’t try and be cute.
Basic is Better: I am a true costume appreciater. I love when people go all out, do not get me wrong. I go all out often and even my most basic costumes are done with intention—the intention of looking hot. If you are not sure what to be, you need to go into a Spirit Halloween and buy a nun costume. Seriously, tell me the last time you were at a costume party and the sexy pirate didn’t look good? It’s a classic for a reason people. You can make the mistake of being too ambitious, especially if you go out every weekend in October. The other fun thing about going the basic route is that you can use that recognizability to your advantage. A lot of costumes rely on color schemes, sometimes a little accessory here or there. You can very easily make a costume your own, on a budget or amped up to your liking.
Pro Fake Blood: I love bloody Halloween costumes. Blood can be added to any regular costume for a little edge. Depending on how this year goes, I might just wear a bra top, black shorts and douse a little fake blood on myself. It just looks soooo good. I love the erotic beauty moments that come from horror. I always think of the gorgeous bobbed Drew Barrymore, hair the same complexion as her skin, brick lipstick, and a blood soaked torso. I used to make my own fake blood, but I’m not that good at it, so I’d recommend blood from any Special FX supplier or your regular Spirit Halloween inventory. This is another one I wish more guys would cling on to. Just wear whatever you usually wear, maybe a little less than you usually wear, add some fake blood and wow you look hot now at this Halloween party without laying it all out on the line.
Scary, Beautiful, or Relevant: You need to be hitting at least one of these three boxes. The best costumes hit all three. The most important thing is that it looks like a Costume. You should look different than your every day self. This may seem repetitive as a tip but I really say it to highlight how simple it is to slay a Halloween look. Choosing a movie or TV character is a great move. This is another accessible option as they’re often in every day clothes. It’s great conversation fodder as well. When in doubt, go for classic horror. Scream queens are always a fun pick and come on, what better way to honor the spirit of the holiday? You can pick any recognizable figure from pop culture, and if you know your audience, you can go for a more obscure look. I say tread lightly on that one, I get personally annoyed when someone picks something that no one knows, just lame.
Clever Costumes/Costumes with a Canon: This is different than pun costumes. I love a costume whose genesis is specific to the people who made the costume. I have two friends who are going as Bald Walter White and Not Bald Walter White for Halloween. I know one of them is actually bald and the other isn’t, and they could go either way: Natural selves or bald cap and wig combo, respectively. They are in talks to get someone a lot bigger than them to be Jesse Pinkman. It doesn’t matter if no one gets it, although for the record I think people will recognize them. It matters that they’re gonna have fun. I love stuff like that. One of my Halloween costumes from 2021, probably my favorite Halloweekend of all time, was a group of four us dressed as Agnetha from ABBA. My little head canon for this costume came from a real place. We were discussing an ABBA group costume and I thought it would be funny if we all went as the same ABBA character. The idea was, what if we all agreed to do ABBA without clarifying who would be who and just assumed we would each be Agnetha? I have too many blondes in my life and it’s only natural that we would each want to be the hottest member of the band. I wanted like 15 people to do it, but it ended up being perfect with four of us.
Two of the four Agnetha’s
So, what am I thinking for Halloween this year? I’ll update once I actually execute. What you should know is I will be utilizing a fake tan and I will be blonde with fake hair pieces for both. I’m going for the pink vibe, but I will not be doing Barbie. I can’t handle the competition, especially not in Salt Lake City, home to the Apex Blonde. I am not going to be breaking the bank. I usually leave the city for Halloweekend, but I’m a little strapped after my move and I just don’t think with the state of my finances and this economy that I could rally a group to come up with the money for that. I believe that three plus is a party, and I just don’t see two plus people in my life both interested in investing in an extravagant Halloweekend for 2023. I don’t usually work in a twosome unless it’s my twin sister, my man, or my best friend who just happens to be an adult male blonde. Leaving town for Halloween is fun, but so is not being charged a biohazard fee for leaving fake blood in the shower of an Airbnb. For all the weekends leading up to THE Halloweekend, I’ll be re-using old costumes and I’ll give a little more details on how they came together. See some of this year’s Halloweenspo:
Blog #2: The Journey to Hardwood Floors
Another gorgeous week in Murray, Utah behind me. I officially signed a lease for a cute apartment in a cute part of the city, so this will be one of my last gorgeous weeks here. I am a bit of a country mouse in the way that I will sacrifice so much aesthetically in the service of paying the cheapest rent possible. I can’t stomach the money, especially in Salt Lake City. I should not be paying city mouse prices for a city that has a bedtime.
I have never had a cute apartment. My first place (outside of dorms) was a two bedroom house right at the bottom of Old Main Hill’s staircase to campus at USU. The location was primo, and the rent was cheap. The house itself was pretty wack, no type of AC, painted over light fixtures, and a serious black mold issue. We did the best we could with it and it was a den of high femme squalor. It was decorated with garrish red and pink decorations and appliances, even our table was spray painted pink with a big red heart in the middle. It was pretty poorly done and the table was always sticky. There was a period of time (over 3 months) where we installed and left up red lightbulbs as the primary overhead lighting for the living room, kitchen and bathroom. At the time there were three of us living there, and I was outvoted until the new year. It was a truly evil and reality-altering effect, and I have no doubt of its lasting effect on all three of us. We didn’t have the good sense to speak up about the apartment issues and our landlord was very lazy. I was happy to leave.
My next place was one of those typical apartment buildings they put up in Utah with the mountain range outline on the sign that matches the tattoos people from the Midwest are addicted to getting. It was newer and the amenities were decent, but it didn’t have any charm to it. What little it did have was owed entirely to roommate razzle dazzle. I lived there with my good friend Nikhil and my sister, Bonnie. We lived there for about a year and through the initial COVID lockdown. The three of us still have a family-like bond. We hosted a few brunches at our place during that time, which was really an opportunity for us to showboat and fight for attention in front of all of our friends. I will never forget when Nikhil said to me (in passing), “I view every interaction as a showcase performance or a networking opportunity.” Our last brunch will live forever in infamy as the day that Kobe and Gianna Bryant died in a tragic helicopter accident. Our lease ended ended in the middle of COVID lockdown. During COVID, we made 10 skits together that you can watch here. We put hardly any decorations up and maintained harsh overhead lighting in the common spaces throughout our stay.
During the summer of 2020, I shacked up with 4 other people in a 4 bedroom unit that cost I think less than $500 to rent for the whole summer, a godsend at the time as we were all unemployed or funemployed (enjoying COVID unemployment pay). I moved in with my boyfriend, and we’ve lived together ever since. The place was fine enough, but once again was chosen for financial rather than aesthetic reasons. I loved my roommates, but it was a really tiny place and we all had our own appliances and dishes. We had a psychotic landlord, her name was Patty. She had rules about drinking in the house and she was very suspicious of our whole unit. The good news is that she also had some kind of significant short term memory loss situation, she would forget what she spoke to us about as soon as she left the property.
In July of 2020, I got a suspect telesales job in Murray. I found an apartment a few blocks away about two weeks later, nestled among a worldclass strip mall. Beauty Lab & Laser, a business owned by Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Heather Gay, is the crowning jewel of my strip mall. This medspa is flanked by a Dollar Tree and some kind of a mattress store, and my strip mall parking lot is the venue of the greatest reality television episode ever aired (maybe I’m being generous), wherein the FBI and Homeland Security flank the housewives of Salt Lake in search of one Jen Shah, a housewife herself who would later plead guilty for conspiracy to commit telefraud. Telesales, namely fraudulent telesales, has to make up at least 40% of Utah’s economy. Ever see Punch Drunk Love? The tele-scammers are located in where else but Provo, Utah.
We had done three moves in the last four months and I think that’s part of the reason why I’ve stayed at this place for three years. I moved with my boyfriend, Brenden, and my sister. We got a two bedroom unit on the first floor. Grey linoleum floors, oak doors, light switches, and no overheard lighting. I mean that. Aside from the kitchen and bathroom, we had no ceiling lights. Our unit is sort of tucked into the building and facing south, so we have virtually no sunlight coming in. Brenden and I killed I want to say ten plants during our first year. I think we did a good job with what we had, but most of the decorating was done within the first six months and never improved upon. For most of the first year, I lived there with Brenden in one room and Bonnie in the second. Our bestie Andrew stayed with us in Bonnie’s room from October to about June of the following year. We had some good times, but quarters were extremely close. I have a picture, and it’s even dated, of the three of us wearing matching sweatshirts. We had the biggest fight of our friendship trio’s existence that very night. Lines were drawn. Boyfriends were disrespected. Threats to kick each other out soon followed. Bonnie, Andrew, and I may as well be triplets so it wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t recover, and looking back it really makes me laugh. We developed better interpersonal boundaries after that stint together. I think that will be the last time (god willing) any of us ever have to share a room together longer than a few days. Even just a couple of years ago, I could have lived dorm style with several others in my room. It would be miserable, of course, but I would have accepted it or even offered it as an option. Aside from the person I sleep with, I can’t even pretend to entertain the idea of living with anyone else again. I hope I never get into a Dish Politics situation with a loved one or acquaintance as long as I shall live. Monogamy is good for a lot of things but eliminating roommates has got to be an S Tier privilege.
My new place is located in the cutest neighborhood in Salt Lake City, The Avenues. It’s a multi unit house tucked away from main roads but still very walkable. Utah has very little tree cover, and where we are is technically desert climate. There is no hiding from the sun in the summertime. This neighborhood is close the university and has more trees than the rest of the city. My apartment has hard wood floors! It’s in a good neighborhood! I don’t have to pay $40 to Uber home on the weekends! I never thought the day would come for me. The best part is that I’ll be paying the same price as I would have if we had stayed in Murray. I am putting a lot of pressure on this move. I am hoping it makes me feel better about living here. I love Utah, and I have a lot of great friends here. I don’t think I see this as my home, and I feel that I would be doing a disservice to myself to spend my entire 20s in a D-tier city like this. Maybe I’ll feel differently after living in a place that isn’t ugly. Look out for updates!
Blog #1: When I Start Somewhere
After almost two years owning this url (which is perfect by the way), it has only become more aimless and haphazard than the day I bought it. I tried to get the megans.world instagram handle but it’s taken by a dormant account. I have megans.world_ and I don’t love it. Maybe I’ll work on that a little more. I feel inspired today to write a bit. After alllllll, you gotta start somewhere.
I deleted my social media apps again this week. Twitter has recently become X, which is obviously for shame, but that’s not why it’s been deleted. I will use Twitter until the wheels fall off. I feel like that’s the app that really raised my brain, for better or worse. It used to be good! I like short form writing and I love to laugh (ask anyone who knows me). Instagram is my last standing actual social app, I use it to reach people and make plans. Now that summer is coming to a close and I don’t have any new sexy pictures to post, it’s really only good for endless scrolling with little to no return. Anyway, I’ve had them off my phone for most of the week.
In their absence I have been reading whatever articles the Google app wants to serve me, including this excellent piece about a remote worker who lives and works on cruise ships year round. I absolutely love how he refers to his life: the times when he is cruising and the times when he is not. I need to figure out how to adopt this verb into my vocabulary.
I am working on finishing my second book of the year (also for shame), Icons and Instincts: Choreographing and Directing Entertainment's Biggest Stars by Vincent Paterson, which you can buy here. This was recommended to me by Bonnie. I love triple threats (ask anyone who knows me), and there is nothing I love more than the synergy of multiple triple threats coming together to provide an entertainment value so great, even the reference to the memory of such moments by the much lesser double or even single threats in the industry these days still makes money. I want to take more creative risks with friends, starting mayhaps with some involvement in our local community theater…Even as I type that I know I’d get eaten alive in this community of theater performance. These mormons do not fucking play about a step ball change.
I am a huge Cat Marnell fan and I do subscribe to her Patreon. With a little more freedom in my screentime, I caught up a bit on her more recent blog posts, the last of which touched on her habits for writing and exercising. It inspired me to get on my derelict website and do something. She aims to write like she works out: One hour every day, no excuses. I, like many women my age and hell! women in general, adore Cat’s writing. Totally nonpretentious, she feels like talking to a great girlfriend. I think she is a pretty rare aspirational millenial voice in a sea of voices marked by feigned mediocrity and actual mediocrity of mind, body, and spirit. John Early’s HBO special, "Now More Than Ever," touches on this a bit as he describes the milquetoast and extremely pervasive millenial voice that is obsessed with saying so much but nothing at all, reaching for even less, alienated from others and their own selves, sweatpanted blobs and dog owners. Some of that is my own extrapolation of course, but I feel like the glorification of mindless indulgence and intellectual softness is not good for people who are going to skew towards laziness to begin with. All that to say, I think goals are an important life force and I think that discipline is a virtue, and her blogs remind of this. Cat is not a famous girl first, she’s a fun girl. Most of what she writes on and recommends is very practical and over the years I’ve gotten some excellent lifestyle tips. I don’t even remember what byte this is from, but I recall a clip of her discussing the importance of a sexy back and good posture as being the catalyst that got me into a semi-consistent exercise regiment after a verrrry inactive adolescence.
I don’t have a real aim in this post aside from just doing it, so I’ll close out with a couple of current ear worms, which I’ll share below:
#1: Flashing Lights by Kanye West
I spent the previous week in So. Ill (I hate typing that out like in this one case I’d like to go lowercase with the i so it can look like an actual fucking word and I don’t want to type out Illinois) with my family. My 15 year old brother put this on in my mom’s minivan on a car ride home, and I ascended. I have been listening to this on repeat, definitely my #1 ear worm of the moment
#2: Headlines by Drake
This song’s power has ebbed a bit at this point, but this has for sure been my song of the summer. Try not losing your mind to this one. Drake is a genuine clown with a heart of gold and he makes excellent pop music. I think this probably re-entered my world from a Tik Tok or something, but it holds up as one of his best songs of all time (I do not careee I’m not that big of a fan btw). I love when he says, “I had someone tell me I fell off, Ooh I needed that / And they want to see me pick back up, well where’d I leave it at?”
#3: What Do I Do by Phil Fearon & Galaxy
Slayyyter recently sampled a different Phil Fearon & Galaxy song in her new single, “Out of Time", and it put me on to this album. This song is light and fresh as hell. I could listen to it over and over. More specifically, I’ve been listening to the Carnival remix on Spotify, but the linked one is also excellent.
#4: Kamikaze by Carly Rae Jepsen
I am current reigning president of the Carly Rae Jepsen Bitch Mob Task Force, so of course her new B-Side record, The Loveliest Time, has been on repeat since its release. This song is right up my alley, Carly has a great voice for pop songs having to do with yearning, more specifically yearning when you should know better.
#5: I Wouldn’t Be a Fool by Barbara Eden
This is a last minute entry! I have been recently obsessed with Barbara Eden in I Dream of Jeannie. She has an excellent bod and the wardrobe is excellence. When she’s not in genie-wear, she is wearing the shortest skirts and dresses (talking top of thigh, just over the butt, gams in full focus). The silhouettes are seriously enviable. She also is definitely wearing some kind of hairpiece, not including the Genie-pony. She has been shortlisted for Halloween this year, and Bonnie just sent me this album. This song is gorgeous. I need to dive into a history of America’s TV starlets for more beauty inspo.
